i ate so much sushi, i should get extra credit.

Mr. Disingenuous: (out of nowhere, in the middle of class) Can he play his thing now?

Le-sensei: (Not the slightest surprise at the interruption) Sure, why not? Yes, would you like to play for us?

Cyrus-san: What?! Um... Right now?

Le-sensei: Sure... if that's ok?

Cyrus-san: Um... Ok... I suppose... (picks up his instrument case and moves to the front of the room)

Mr. Disingenuous: Yes!! Take as long as you can, ok!

kanji contest

ok, this one takes a little explaining. the teacher, Sensei, ahem... divided the class in half, and each side was to send up someone to draw a kanji, the more complex japanese characters. if that person needed help, his/her team could help, but NOT go up to the board.

i wonder if other language classes get this rowdy?

as if it wasn't hard enough already...

this had to be one of the most bizarre moments in class. am i suppose to be thinking of this?
