What the Teepee?

I don't know how i failed to get a picture of the outside of the teepee... but um... this thing was the real deal.
even down to the vacuum cleaner.

Heading North, then South

from Smokehouse Dr.

from Lummi Shores Pt.

but this one has scary river-folk. more to come later. once i buy a gun, or something.

there's a stretch of road that runs along the river. seriously, if i stopped there, i'm sure both my body and car would be hacked to bits and used for parts.

free couch - not heavy

at 11:24pm i found this ad:

Free Couch. NOT heavy! (Bellingham)
Date: 2008-09-18, 7:44PM

Sitting out front. No animal stains or other weird smells. Just an old, comfy, rec-
room type of couch.
Come any time before Midnight and please take it away!

So, not having a truck handy, we enlisted the help of Ben’s trusty longboard, and this happened:

the memorial to those who set to sea...

... never to return.

these kites were amazing. handmade by father and son, they stretched up in to the sky to the point were i couldn't make out individual kites anymore. so beautiful- swaying peacefully in the breeze, tugging just enough for one to know they belonged on the wind, but were content to be held from the ground.

The $1 Aquatic Center

This place was so cute! it had a small tank where you could reach in and pick up hermit crabs, sea cucumbers and starfish, and you could touch sea anemones! There was also a larger tank with some bigger fish, some flat head halibut, and crabs!! They also had a tank that had a glass bubble coming up from the bottom that you could climb inside of and look around like you were a deep sea diver. And all for only a buck!!!
